Volunteer opportunity: Help us heal the land at Flycatcher Forest Feb 6, 2022

Updated: Jan 18, 2022

Any and all volunteers interested in land restoration are welcome to join the Pender Islands Conservancy and Raincoast Conservation Foundation at S,DÁYES Flycatcher Forest for our first invasive species removal events this fall and winter. For the most part, the habitat of the Flycatcher Forest is thriving, but there are some places in which infestations of invasive plants are inhibiting the growth of native species.

Come dressed for the weather, we will be on the land rain or shine! If you have your own gloves, safety glasses, or garden tools please bring them along, otherwise we can provide them for you.
